Web Framework Benchmarks

They’re also including a test for a JSP engine. JSP is a terrible technology for generating web pages, and it’s not used in 99.99% of sites. So, an inappropriate test for the purpose of the benchmark.
Notice how none of the main back-end frameworks are mentioned? Reducing the space of back-end frameworks to just one is quite a narrow approach. I’ll add that the high-level test results don’t even include all the back-end frameworks - just the popular ones.
For some reason, the authors want to represent a domain-oriented framework as a REST or SOAP API. If you want to represent a framework as a REST API, you need to use a REST API. If you want to represent a framework as a SOAP API, you need to use a SOAP API. But the authors chose this approach for no apparent reason.
They chose DZone as their most popular online publication to publish their benchmark results, and in an online publication, there’s no way of finding out whether the results have been skewed by editors. So, a big red flag.
And while there are a number of frameworks out there that will help you write fast web applications, most won’t help you maintain them. So before you write you code, make sure you have an easy and reliable way of testing it. And while JavaScript can do many things that a framework like Spring can do, it’s not a framework (at least, not a true one).
Svelte is a front-end framework. It can be thought of as a UI-oriented “compile-time” JavaScript framework. It’s a client-side framework, which means it doesn’t concern itself with server-side back-end functionality.
While it doesn’t provide the functionality of a back-end framework like Spring, it does provide a lot of useful features to help you write fast, maintainable, and testable front-end code, including:
Vue is a MVVM-oriented framework which is described as a Vue-like framework. It is mentioned that it is very similar to React, but the framework itself is very stable and the main element of its success is the amazing developer community (more than 10k stars on GitHub).
Peer Group Questions – Think about the size of the private equity firm and the industry you are applying to. How did the firm decide to go with that size? Can you think of a situation where a firm would consider a different size? What kind of questions would you ask to determine whether a particular size or industry is right for you?
To decide which one should you opt for, one needs to look at the business as a whole. Doing so will give a better understanding of how the business functions, how profitable it is, how the management team is doing and what problems it might face in the future. It also helps to determine if there are any other reasons as to why you should or shouldn’t be interested in the company. Companies with a higher ROE are considered more attractive as well as have a higher Return on invested capital (ROIC). This helps determine if you need to invest in the company. 827ec27edc
